Frequently Asked Questions - F.A.Q.
When do we get our wedding proofs?
Your proofs will be ready six weeks after the wedding. We do everything that we can to get them to you sooner but we may need that extra time especially during our busy season. It's better to under promise and over deliver! Besides, even at six weeks we're still a lot faster than most studios.
How long do the finished albums take?
The coffee table books that we sell today take a bit longer than the albums of just a few years ago. This is because there are two steps to follow, the design and the production.
Album design is done in house, so we integrate it into our regular production schedule. The clock begins when you submit your image list to us. At that point we start creating the design. Depending on time of year, this can take 3 4 weeks to get the final design ready for your approval.
On approval, the design is sent to the album company. They tell us that orders will take 12 weeks for production, however so far, every order we have placed with them has come thru in about half that time.
Traditional albums that were popular a few years ago still took about 12 weeks so on average I guess things work out about the same. The benefit is the awesome look of these new albums.
Are two or three photographers like a
"good thing"?
YES! With the exception of our smaller packages, all our packages include two photographers, and half the time we show up with three.
Today?s photo styles require us to work fast and furious. With two photographers it allows us to dedicate one photographer to the girls and one to the guys. When we're not working separately, each photographer can be getting different angles of the wedding ceremony or other parts of your day. It becomes vital to our photographic coverage.
What about meals? Do we need to feed you?
Food and beverage is not neccessary. We bring everything we need with us. Often all we ask is a place to store our gear and sit during the reception.
What is your dress code?
Due to the warm climate we live in, we adopt a "Business Casual" dress code. We show up in clean, new attire and make sure we look presentable. We usually dress in dark colors so we blend into the background. Our goal is to be invisiable to your guests as much as we can.
